Kate's first airplane ride...she liked it.

Grandpa giving the girls a ride around Monte Vista in the golf cart.

We did two hikes while we were there. One to Wind Cave (where I neglected to take my camera) and one into the Superstition
Mtns. seen here. This is were Jacob Waltz found gold but no one has found it since - the Lost Dutchman Mine.

Kurt, Katie and a cactus.

Mom, Trina, Me and John in the Superstitions.

Kaylee loving the hike on Grandpa's back.

Katie is freed at the end of our excursion.

We also spent a day at the Mesa Museum of Natural History. It was a really kid friendly place with lots to see. Trevor loved the dinosaurs.

Trev seen here with Uncle Kurt if we could have bottled the look on Trev's face when he walked in the door and saw this mammoth- we'd be rich. It was priceless!

Baby Katie and a baby triceratops. She slept through the whole museum...it was obviously really great!

For my friends who love
CSI: this exhibit was my favorite.
Wittly entitled PSI: Poop Scene Investigator or Who Dung It?It was all about poop and poop was on display. I hope some day the River Museum in
Dubuque gets it I believe it is a traveling exhibit.

We all enjoyed panning for gold. Some enjoyed it more than others and needed wardrobe changes after out visit.

Lunch on the street corner outside the museum . What a motley crew!

On Sunday, we headed to University of Phoenix Stadium to see the Cardinals play the Vikings. Unfortunately the Vikings won. But it was still neat to see a professional football game.

And we weren't the only loyal Packer fans there!

Kate is a Cards fan!

She took two naps during the game. But here we are enjoying.

Katie napping at Minneapolis St. Paul Airport on our extended layover.

We found things to keep us happy like riding the carts up and down the terminal halls.
