Celebrating Katie

One of the highlights of Kate's birthday weekend was receiving a BIG present from Grampa and Gramma Harris. 

After Uncle Alan and Grampa (and Dad) spent some time in the backyard putting it together....

 nearly everyone was able to enjoy this gift.  Check out the view from the kitchen window.

 Cousin Kaylee made a special trip down to celebrate.

We even got out the party dresses!  It sure is great being three!

It doesn't seem like its been three years....

Yet, by 9 p.m. tonight Kate will have been part of our lives- at least out of the womb.

She's become quite the young lady.  Independent and loving.  Joy-filled and sassy.  Tomboy and mother-hen.

And now, she's three!  Happy Birthday Katie! 

OLIVE company!

We LOVE company and olives, too.

We're stoked to have Kurt's brother Alan and his family visiting this weekend.  AND we've got my folks and niece down from up north.  Hooray for company- here's to enjoying it all weekend!
